A series of pop up live performances on overtone flutes on and around the boardwalk at Wicken Fen.

A series of evocative and captivating live performances on hand-crafted overtone flutes took place on and around the boardwalk, woven in with the sculptural sound trail, in response to specific locations and soundworlds of the Wicken Fen. Workshop participants performed specially devised compositions on flutes hand-crafted from willow branches harvested from Wicken Fen following a series of instrument making and composition workshops with Jan Hendrickse and Kathy Hinde. Thank you to all the participants who made this a special and evocative experience.
